Matt “The Walking Flex” Shaps was born on Tegridy Farms in rural Colorado to a pile of sticks. His parents, Twig and Stem, knowing that their little stick deserved a better life and feared that he would be a stick forever, put him up for human adoption. After going through many adoption agencies, Twig and Stem found a loving human family in Fairless hills, Pennsylvania where Matt was sent via envelope. In Fairless hills, Matt learned the human ways and became human-esque. He learned the human tongue and picked up phrases like, “rip a dab?” which in literal translation meant, “do you want to dab your eyes with tissues after crying?”, and “let me show you how to hand bong,” which meant, “let me show you how to make a loud noise with your hands.”

During high school, Matt attended Pennsbury where he found his love for frisbee. Matt was instantly incredible. He dominated the field with his patented only-throw-backhand technique and his ability to sky people because he could get really really really really high. After graduation, Matt journeyed his way to Ithaca New York where he received a rejection letter. Upon receiving a rejection letter, Matt found himself in Somerville, Massachusetts at Tufts University. At Tufts University, Matt continued his frisbee dominance and impressed the team by telling them he played on Pennsbury and DEVYL, Off the field, Matt can be found gelling his hair, drinking his tea, falling in love with a girl freshman fall, dating the girl, marrying the girl, having kids together, and dying together while holding hands.
